Used this under my camp stove on a wooden picnic table and the table didn't even get warm after 20 minutes of cooking. The aramid material feels way sturdier than the flimsy foil I used to fold up, and it rolls small enough to live in my cook kit.

I was skeptical about a thin sheet stopping heat damage, but the aramid weave really handles the radiant heat from my stove. No scorching on the countertop after a long simmer. Great for tight spaces.

This aramid sheet works perfectly under my camping stove – the flame-resistant material gives me peace of mind and my table stays cool. Finally no more scorch marks.
