I’ve been using this bucket for foraging and it’s perfect—the carry strap makes it easy to take along even with full hands. Holds about three gallons, which is just right for a day’s worth of berries or mushrooms. Very happy with the purchase.

The waterproof coating held up perfectly when I filled it with creek water for camp dishes, and the carry strap made the trek back to camp painless. Three gallons is the sweet spot—big enough to be useful, small enough to swing one-handed while scanning for chanterelles.

The carry strap made hauling a full bucket of blackberries much easier than I expected. Three gallons is a good size for a day of foraging, though I wish it had a lid to keep things from spilling.
