Penelope ★★★★★

Wore this around a campfire and didn't have to worry about stray sparks at all, which is exactly why I bought an aramid jacket. It's also surprisingly comfortable for something this protective.

Daniel ★★★★★

The outer fabric feels noticeably tougher than my usual jackets without being stiff, and it handled a gusty campfire night without any worry. I like that it packs enough warmth for cold weather while still giving me freedom to move around.

Kevin Z. ★★★★★

Wore it through a rainy evening in the park and the aramid shell shrugged off every drop while keeping me completely dry underneath. The flame resistance is a huge plus for someone who likes to cook over open fires, and the down insulation still feels light enough for everyday wear.
