The Itauba wood has a nice dense feel and a warm color that matches the rest of the table well. Only downside is the inserts sit a bit proud of the frame, but it’s barely noticeable once everything is assembled.

The inserts fit snugly into the center frame, and the itauba wood feels solid and heavy enough to trust. Took a bit of fiddling to get them perfectly aligned, but once seated, they look like part of the table.

The wood grain on these inserts has a really nice, warm look that matches my patio setup perfectly. They fit snugly into the table frame without any wobble. My only small wish is that they came pre-oiled, as the bare wood will need sealing for outdoor use.
