Snow Peak x Merrell Moab Speed 2 GORE-TEX®

Took these out on a wet, rocky trail this weekend and the hybrid design really shines—stiff enough for scrambling but still feels nimble on the downhill. The GORE-TEX kept my feet bone dry through a creek crossing, and the collar padding is noticeably plusher than most trail shoes I've tried.

The GORE-TEX lining held up perfectly through a rainy trail run, and the grip on wet rocks was noticeably better than my old hiking shoes. I've worn them on three day hikes since, and my feet stayed dry and comfortable the whole time.

The Gore-Tex lining kept my feet bone-dry through a muddy creek crossing that soaked everything else I had on. The hybrid design means I can wear them on the trail and then into town without looking out of place, which is exactly what I wanted.
