Mikro oval

Made a single serving of beef stew in this last night and it came out perfect, the cast iron holds heat way better than my old pot. It's small enough to sit right on the coals at camp too, which is honestly why I bought it.

I've been using this little cast iron pot for single servings of stew and it holds heat way better than my old ceramic ramekins. It's small enough to tuck into the corner of the oven, and the cast iron gives whatever I bake a nice crisp edge.

The lid flipping into a little griddle is genius, I've used it for frying an egg while the stew simmers below. Cast iron heats so evenly that even a small portion comes out tasting like it cooked all day.
