I was worried the fade would look fake in person, but the pigment dye actually varies nicely across the seams. The 100% cotton has some weight to it without feeling stiff, and they've already softened up after two washes.

The stone-wash finish gives these pants that perfect worn-in feel right out of the bag, and the 100% cotton is thick enough to hold shape without being stiff. I've worn them three times already and the fade keeps getting better with each wash.
