Pounded these into some seriously rocky soil and the forged carbon steel didn't even chip. The weight and sharp point made quick work of ground where other stakes just bounce off.

Finally, a stake that doesn’t bend or skip off rocks when I’m setting up a big tarp; the forged carbon steel feels incredibly solid in hand. Pounded it into hard-packed clay without a single dent, and the pointed tip grabbed immediately.

Bought this for a rocky patch of ground where my old stakes bent on the first try. The forged carbon steel took the hammer blows without any flex, and the extra length gave a solid hold even in that loose, gravelly dirt.
