Setup for six people felt spacious even with two coolers and a camp stove underneath. The water repellent held up through an unexpected afternoon shower with no leaks at all.

The Shield material handled a surprise downpour without a single drip inside, and the large size gave our group of five plenty of room to cook and relax. Setup took a bit of practice to get the tension right, but once it’s up, it feels rock solid.

Set this up for a rainy weekend with friends and the Snow Peak Shield material really shed water like magic. We had six of us under it with room to spare, and the Japanese design kept everything stable even in a gusty breeze.
