Snow Peak x Merrell MTL Longsky 2 Matryx

The charcoal color is exactly what I hoped for, like the cool ashes of a fire, and the Matryx upper keeps my feet locked in without any hotspots even on rocky descents. I’ve put about 30 miles on them and they’re already my go-to for long trail days.

The Matryx upper feels surprisingly breathable for how sturdy it is, and the campfire ash color gets compliments every time I wear them on the trail. They gripped well on loose gravel during my first long run, no break-in issues at all.

That charcoal colorway is exactly what I wanted for muddy fall trails, and the Matryx upper has held up through three rugged runs without a scratch. The fit locks my heel in nicely, and they shed dirt way easier than my old pair.
