Took this on a weekend camping trip and it pressed two ham and cheese sandwiches in about five minutes over the fire. The nonstick surface wiped clean with just a paper towel, which I wasn't expecting.

Took mine camping last weekend and it handled the job perfectly — the toasted sandwiches came out golden and crisp even over a modest camp stove. The compact size fits right in the cooler, so it’s become a regular in my pack.

The handle folds down so neatly that I almost forgot I brought it camping with us last weekend. Heats up fast enough to make lunch for three before the kids lose interest, and cleanup is just a quick wipe.
