The weight of the solid cast iron surprised me in a good way — it holds heat so evenly that a single sliced potato comes out perfectly tender. I've been using it on camping trips too, and it cleans up way easier than I expected for bare iron.

I was skeptical a pot this tiny would earn its keep, but it's become my go-to for a single baked potato or a little applesauce. The solid cast iron holds heat so well that one small potato comes out perfectly tender. It's heavy for its size, which I actually like.

Bought this mainly to roast a single apple with cinnamon and it does the job nicely, heats evenly on the stove and cleans up with a quick rinse. Only gripe is the handle gets hot fast, so keep a towel handy.
