The rain came down sideways during our last trip, and the water just beaded right off the fabric—we stayed completely dry underneath. The extra UV coverage is a real bonus for long afternoons in the sun.

I was skeptical about the water-repellent claim, but after a full day of steady drizzle our gear stayed completely dry underneath. The fabric feels substantial yet it folds down small, making it easy to pack along with the main tent.

Set it up before an afternoon thunderstorm rolled in and the water just beaded right off the fabric—kept everything underneath bone dry. The extra shade it threw over the main tent made the whole setup feel cooler too. Solid buy for the price.
