The 45° angle on the painted head made aligning it in the dirt noticeably easier than with my old stakes. It drove in smoothly even in rocky soil and the S55C steel feels exceptionally sturdy for a mid-priced tool.

The painted head is a nice touch, adds a bit of character to the yard. The forged steel feels solid in hand, and that 45° bevel really made driving it into the ground a smooth job.
